COLAISTE Choilm, Swords progressed to the Dublin Schools Junior Football ‘C’ Championship decider with a commanding semi-final win over Skerries Community College yesterday afternoon.
During the second half in Skerries Harps GAA, Choilm had built up a seemingly insurmountable advantage of 4-10 to 1-6. However, it was at this point that the play was held up because of a head injury sustained by a Choilm player.
Though the match was ultimately called to a halt, a decision was made to award the victory to the Miltonsfields outfit.
Meanwhile, silverware will be up for grabs at Abbotstown this afternoon – when Dublin North face St Kieran’s College, Kilkenny in the Leinster Schools Juvenile Hurling ‘A’ League final.
