Byrne aims to stay positive
CLIFF BYRNE was doing his best to look on the bright side after Derry City were left frustrated against Bray Wanderers at the Carlisle Grounds on Friday.
Graham Kelly’s 41st-minute miss from the penalty spot saved Derry from a second league defeat in three games.
But Byrne has pointed to the positives ahead of tomorrow’s clash at home to Limerick.
He explained: “It’s another point away from home. There is a positive there for us that we need to take as a group, and going into Monday.
“When things weren’t coming together we dug in and we made sure we kept a clean sheet. Once you keep a clean sheet, you’re always in the running.”
