GARY MCCABE was spot on at Tallaght Stadium as Rovers got back to winning ways.

Sean Heaney effectively sealed the points after McCabe had put the Hoops, without a win in two league games, on the victory path.

A foul by Bray centre-half Adam Mitchell on Heaney saw ref Derek Tomney point to the spot on six minutes, McCabe netted from 12 yards.

Stephen McGuinness turned a left-foot drive by ex-Bray ace Kieran ‘Marty’ Waters on to the woodwork.

Rovers doubled their lead 12 minutes into the second half.

McCabe’s corner from the right was headed home by teenage left-back Heaney.

David Scully’s 76th-minute spot-kick gave Bray hope after Simon Madden barged into Akinade.

Niall Cooney fluffed a late chance for a leveller.
