GAELIC GAMES: DUBLIN SHC ‘B’ FINAL
St Declan’s secure ‘B’ title

ST DECLAN’S College secured the Dublin Schools Senior ‘B’ Hurling Championship crown with a 2-18 to 1-18 victory over St Colmcille’s CS at the National Games Development Centre in Abbotstown yesterday afternoon.
Declan’s had booked their place in this decider with a thrilling semi-final success against Castleknock CC in Broombridge a fortnight ago. Though the Cabra side entered this contest in fine spirits as a result, Colmcille’s had emphatically dispatched the challenge of Terenure College in their last-four encounter.
Yet Declan’s were champions at this grade as recently as February 2018 and despite the stern resistance provided by their Scholarstown Road counterparts, they once again came out on top.
