COURTESY of successive group stages wins, Ardscoil Ris have safely advanced to the semi-final of the new Dublin Schools Senior ‘A’ Hurling Championship.

Having recorded a 12-point triumph over Colaiste Eanna in mid-September, they overcame the stiff challenge of St Fintan’s HS, Sutton in their second game of of the preliminary phase last Friday.

After missing out on a final spot in 2018/19, the northsiders are determined to go a couple of steps further in the new season.

Holders St Benildus College are expected to provide considerable resistance on the opposite side of the draw, however, while Colaiste Eoin will be another force to be reckoned with.
