Decos and Lucan to serve up classic

O’TOOLE Park, Crumlin will host what should be a well-contested Dublin Schools Junior Football ‘B’ showpiece between favourites St Declan’s College and an in-form Lucan CBS.
While Lucan are hoping to build on an impressive semi-final victory over Colaiste Eanna, Declan’s will be buoyed by their own comprehensive triumph (1-16 to 0-6) against Salesian College in the penultimate round.
Silverware will also be up for grabs at Clanna Gael Fontenoy and Good Counsel GAA clubs over the next couple of days, as the Minor Schools Camogie finals take centre stage.
At 1pm this afternoon in Sean Moore Park, Coláiste ĺosagáin face Dominican College, Griffith Avenue in the Minor ‘A’ Championship final.
This will be preceded by a 10.30am clash between Loreto Beaufort (Rathfarnham) and Castleknock CC in Minor ‘A’ Shield at the same venue, with the Minor ‘B’ Shield meeting of Portmarnock CS and Scoil Chaitríona taking place in Good Counsel (1.30pm).
In the latter venue tomorrow afternoon (1.0) Loreto Swords and Loreto Balbriggan will battle it out for top honours in a Minor ‘C’ Shield encounter.
Meanwhile, Luttrellstown CC were crowned Dublin Schools Juvenile Football ‘E’ Tier One champions with a hard-earned one-point win at the expense of Colaiste Mhuire at the National Games Development Centre, Abbotstown yesterday.
