ST MAC Dara’s Community College qualified for the Dublin Schools Juvenile Football ‘C’ Championship final with an impressive 5-11 to 2-3 win over Colaiste Choilm at Abbotstown on Monday morning.

It had been a long road to this semi-final clash for the Wellington Lane school, as they had to work their way through a five-team group that included fellow Southsiders Clonkeen College, Drimnagh Castle CBS, Old Bawn CS and Oatlands College. Choilm were in a four-team Roinn Three alongside Chanel College, St David’s CBS and St Joseph’s Rush, before securing their place in the penultimate rounds of the competition with a quarter-final triumph.

MOMENTUM

Both sides have plenty of momentum coming into the game, but courtesy of their clinical edge in attack, Mac Dara’s progressed to the upcoming decider with 17 points to spare.
