MICHELLE NI CHIARDHA (Col Iosagain)
TUESDAY this week was a memorable day for Colaiste Iosagáin, who secured the Leinster Ladies Senior Football ‘A’ Championship crown against Eureka Secondary School, Kells in Dunganny.
The southside girls (who were All-Ireland champions in 2014) had a number of fine performers in the decider, including the influential Michelle Ní Chiardha – who was awarded Player of the Match for her excellent individual display.
On a day when her school were worthy winners, Ní Chiardha finished with an impressive personal tally of 0-5, which helps to make her the deserving recipient of this week’s award.
