David’s secure ‘C’ title

ST DAVID’S CBS secured the Dublin Juvenile FC ‘C’ title yesterday morning at the DCU Sportsgrounds, following a 5-9 to 2-10 victory over St Kevin’s CBS.
However, it wasn’t always plain sailing for David’s, and courtesy of fine work by the midfield pairing of Eoin Kearney and Ciaran McHugh, their Ballygall Road East counterparts led by seven points at the mid-way stage.
A Dwayne McCourt goal was the catalyst for a strong second-half showing from David’s, though, and thanks to strong leadership from Kian Duggan, Aaron Walsh and David Ducie – as well as further three-pointers by Duggan and the excellent Josh O’Neill – they claimed the top honours.
