STAR OF THE WEEK
PHILIP JORDAN (Terenure College)
LAST Friday was a day to remember for Terenure College, as they secured the Dublin Schools SHC ‘B’ title at the expense of St Colmcille’s CS. There were a number of star performers for the southside school, and alongside midfield partner Tommy Deane, Philip Jordan exerted a major influence on the proceedings.
Over the course of the action, Jordan – who is a member of the local Faughs club – registered an impressive personal tally of 0-7, which included two points from inside his own half. Jordan is expected to be a key player for ‘Nure in their upcoming provincial campaign, and is a worthy winner of this week’s award.
