A STAR performance from Bristol’s Olly Robinson helped his side to a 32-14 victory over Connacht Eagles at the Sportsground yesterday in Pool 1 of the British and Irish Cup.
Three tries from the flanker overcame the hosts, who made a bright start. But Bristol came back and dominated the game, outscoring Connacht Eagles by six tries to one.
A try by scrum-half John Cooney offered the Eagles hope, but a touch-down from Jack Tovey consigned them to the foot of the table.
