Shels rolling on
Shamrock Rovers B 0 Shelbourne 2
FIRST-HALF goals from Dylan Connolly and substitute Lee Duffy helped Shelbourne maintain the pressure on First Division table-toppers Longford Town.
Shamrock Rovers B side had shown early promise, but failed to deal with a Lee Murtagh delivery on 21 minutes, an instinctive strike by Connolly put Shels ahead.
Duffy replaced the injured Murtagh and almost immediately scored after Conor O’Malley parried Connolly’s 32nd-minute shot.
