Munster-Edinburgh Foley’s Pro12 opener
RUGBY: The Anthony Foley-era in Munster will kick-start on home soil, after yesterday’s Guinness Pro12 pairings gave the Reds a first round encounter against Alan Solomon’s Edinburgh at Thomond Park on September 5.
Ulster face a tricky assignment away to Scarlets, but the glamour tie is undoubtedly the clash of Glasgow Warriors and Leinster at Scoutstoun Stadium.
Pat Lam’s Connacht are looking to improve on their 10th place finish last season and will need a solid return from early outings against Newport Gwent Dragons, Edinburgh, Leinster and Glasgow respectively.
