SECOND-HALF goals from Niall Arthur, Ryan Peacock and Davy Kennedy proved crucial at Alfie Byrne Park last night, as St Patrick’s College, Drumcondra progressed to the next stage of the Kehoe Shield with an impressive 3-12 to 1-10 victory against Fingal.
JM Sheridan’s free-taking kept Fingal in the contest up to the interval as they trailed 0-8 to 0-6.
The tie looked set to go down to the wire but Pat’s found an extra gear, as points from Conor Joyce, Eoin Barry and a goal by Arthur set them on their way to a resounding victory.
