DIVISION 1B
A 14-point haul from Chris Quinn was crucial at the Belfield Bowl yesterday, as Ballynahinch continued their excellent start in a hard-fought clash 24-13 win over UCD. The home side had enjoyed a seven-point lead in the first half, but a penalty try and well-worked touchdown from Chris Napier sealed victory for the visitors.
Despite a vastly improved performance, Ballymena once again came up short in College Park yesterday afternoon, as Dublin University triumphed 25-11. Tries from Martin Kelly, Niyi Adeolukun and Ariel Robles ensured that the Antrim side’s losing streak in Division 1B continues.
