Jack Regan and Adam Gannon scored a combined haul of 2-12 on Saturday to help Meath towards a convincing Christy Ring Cup triumph over Down.

Despite seeing a 10-point lead slip from their grasp, a Regan free established a 1-12 to 2-8 interval cushion for the Royals. Nicholas Potterton and Gannon (his second) reinforced their authority with goals on the resumption, while Callum O’Sullivan also found the net in stoppage-time.
