Leitrim dug deep at Croke Park on Saturday to claim their maiden Lory Meagher Cup title.
Their opponents, Lancashire, led 1-19 to 1-16 with the final whistle in sight and seemed likely to win.
However, a James Glancy goal forced the game into extra-time and the Connacht men pushed on to claim an historic win.
