WHILE there were a number of outstanding performances in Coláiste Eoin’s Leinster Senior ‘A’ Hurling Championship victory over Dublin North yesterday, the versatile Tom Ó hEachthigheirn’s part in their eventual success cannot be underestimated.
Having lined out as a half-back for his school in the past, the Ballinteer St John’s man transferred effortlessly between the half-forward and full-forward lines in this hard-fought provincial contest.
In addition to finishing with an impressive tally of 1-1, Ó hEachthigheirn fought tirelessly for possession throughout the course of the play and is a worthy recipient of this week’s award.
