Boh’ quarter given by Cork
Bohemians 1 Cork 1
SPECTACULAR strikes in either half from Vinny Sullivan and Evan McMillan lit up Dalymount Park last night, as ten-man Bohemians and Cork City had to settle for a share of the spoils in an entertaining Airtricity Premier Division clash.
Hard
Bohs were finding it hard to create clear-cut opportunities, and they were hit by a sucker punch on 15 minutes when Sullivan fired superbly past Gypsies netminder Greg Murray with a first-time strike from close-range after Daryl Horgan’s cross from the right.
Keith Ward showed Bohs’ intent after the break when hitting the side-netting from a well-executed set piece three minutes into the second period.
However, if it didn’t quite come together for the Gypsies in this instance, it certainly did after 54 minutes, when McMillan found the top right-hand corner of the Cork net with a magnificent curled strike off his right peg from all of 30 yards, which left Mark McNulty in the City goal with absolutely no chance.
