Pádraig Puirséil (Colaiste Eoin)
IT proved to be a memorable start to the Leinster SF ‘A’ Championship for Coláiste Eoin as they defeated Knockbeg College in yesterday’s group encounter at UCD.
In a display full of energy and vigour, centre-forward Pádraig Puirséil helped the Gaelscoil to settle with a brace of opening-half points. He later added a superb goal on 29 minutes, which left Knockbeg with a mountain to climb on the restart.
He proved to be a focal point in attack throughout for the Booterstown school, making him a worthy recipient of the weekly award.
