Magees are the flair pair

Chloe and Sam Magee turned on the style in Blanchardstown to secure the Irish Open badminton mixed doubles crown.
With a 21-13, 21-12 win over England’s Harley Towler and Emily Westwood at the National Indoor Arena, the Donegal siblings became the first Irish winners at the tournament since Scott Evans’ singles triumph in 2012. The Raphoe pair had finished runners-up last year.
Leo Rossi of France won the men’s singles final, while South Korean Se Young An took the women’s singles crown.
Westwood combined with Malaysia’s Li Lian Yang to claim the women’s doubles title, while South Koreans Choi Solgyu and Seo Seung Jae won the men’s doubles.
