Daniel Peel (Ardscoil Ris)
IN their Dublin Schools Junior ‘A’ Hurling final triumph over Colaiste Eoin on Tuesday, Ardscoil Ris had a number of excellent performers.
Once again, though, it was reliable attacker Daniel Peel who produced a number of invaluable scores to get Ardscoil over the line.
His dead-ball prowess kept the northsiders in contention and he subsequently propelled them into the driving seat with a 40th-minute goal.
This acted as a springboard for their eventual victory, making Peel a worthy recipient of this award.
