Conway goal proves the difference for Naas
NAAS 3-2 RAHARNEY 0-3
Marian Doyle paved the way for a Kildare double, firing 2-1 in the first half at Parnell Park on Saturday, as Naas overcame the challenge of Westmeath side Raharney.
Naas enjoyed a 2-2 to 0-0 cushion at the interval, before Maria Kelly finally opened the Raharney account with a free on 25 minutes. Kelly added two more points, but an Aine Conway goal from a ’45’ sealed the deal for Naas.
