BOHEMIANS enjoyed a comfortable victory with hat-trick hero David Scully the stand-out performer against 10-man Drumkeen United.

Bohs got the scoring up and running after just 55 seconds of play when Scully found the back of the net with a side-footed finish from close-range via a fine delivery into the area by Derek Pender.

Drumkeen were doing their best to prevent further goals from the hosts but it was looking more and more likely that Bohs would add to their advantage.

It came as no surprise, therefore, when they doubled their lead 24 minutes in, as centre-half Roberto Lopes poked the ball into the net with his second attempt.

The home side dropped their intensity levels in the second half Scully headed into an empty net after 67 minutes for the third goal. Scully would then secure the match ball just ten minutes later with a simple tap in following a corner from the right.

That was followed almost immediately by the dismissal of Drumkeen substitute James Ratiff on a second-yellow card offence.

Dave Mulcahy capped a fine performance for Aaron Callaghan’s men with a sweet left-footed finish from a right angle past a helpless Paul McAuley.
