Kilkenny CBS booked their place in the semi-finals with a three-point victory over Presentation College, Athenry at Abbotstown yesterday.
Sean Bogler goaled for the Noresiders, but with a seven-point haul from Evan Niland, Athenry led 0-9 to 1-3 cushion at the interval. However, further goals by Bogler and Sean Boyd helped Kilkenny to gain control, and even though frees from Niland kept the Tribesmen in touch, late points by Bogler and Niall Brassil sealed victory.
