Sean Corrigan was to the fore in Parnell Park yesterday, as his 2-3 haul helped Fermanagh to promotion at the expense of an overwhelmed Warwickshire.

Corrigan’s opening goal came on 12 minutes and four points from Ryan Bogue gave the Ulster men a 1-8 to 0-5 mid-way advantage.

Six points further without reply gave Fermanagh an insurmount-able 14-point cushion, even before Mick Bermingham was sent off for the West Midlands men. Although Kieran Courtney and James O’Dwyer found the back of the net for the losers, Corrigan sealed the victory with his second goal.
