ST PATRICK’S Athletic booked their place in the semi-final of the FAI Cup, after holding off a spirited second-half fightback from Cobh Ramblers at Richmond Park to win 3-2. Pat’s broke the deadlock in the 15th-minute, when Christy Fagan headed home and they doubled their lead six minutes later courtesy of a firm finish by Jamie McGrath.
A 49th-minute penalty by Connor Ellis gave Cobh hope and Rob Lehane also finished but Pat’s held out.
