RACING’S RISE IS NO BIG SURPRISE

JOHNNY SEXTON believes Racing Metro are beginning to fulfil their potential.
The French aces face Saracens in this weekend’s Champions Cup decider this weekend.
Leinster out-half Sexton spent two seasons with the Parisiennes before returning to Leinster this campaign.
He said: “I knew that when I went that they had potential. I wasn’t just going to sign for anybody. I thought with the players we had signed for that season we could have done something sooner than what was realistic.”
There will be Irish interest in Saturday’s final, with Ronan O’Gara working as defence coach with Racing.
And Sexton added: “I think he has a real future in coaching. He is contracted there for another few years. Then you could see him coming back to Munster or even Ireland. You never know. He has done it the right way.”
