Leinster Media Briefing Ahead Of Connacht Away Game: Dave Kearney – The Irish Daily Mirror – March 22 2016

DAVE PHILOSOPHICAL

BY DAIRE WALSH

DAVE KEARNEY has been frustrated watching his Ireland team-mates from the sideline in recent weeks.

The winger’s Six Nations campaign was brought to an abrupt end by a robust tackle from French captain Guilhem Guirado.

But after his returning to action with Leinster away to Glasgow last Friday, he is glad it wasn’t worse.

“I suppose it’s part of the game, picking up those injuries and picking up those niggles. I missed the rest of the Six Nations, but it could have been worse.”

Kearney’s return is a boost for Leinster ahead of their top-of-the-table clash away to Connacht this Saturday.

His brother Rob, Luke Fitzgerald and Marty Moore may also be in contention but Sean O’Brien is still a couple of weeks away from a full recovery.
