Morrel wraps up title triumph

A Piers Morrel try two minutes from time clinched a hard-earned victory for St Columba’s in Templeogue.
After a tentative start, Sandford Park started to grow in confidence, with Sean Fenlon and Cian Martin, who was just off target with a penalty, central to their efforts.
Columba’s finally opened the scoring after 46 minutes courtesy of a Peter Quigley penalty.
And Sandford’s hopes were finally killed off when right-wing Morrel raced away for a breakaway try, which Quigley converted.
