Fogarty praises his young guns
AFTER an encouraging win against Bath last Saturday, Leinster scrum coach John Fogarty praised the performance of the Blues’ young pack.
With an average age of just 24, Fogarty admitted that he was nervous about how the forwards would cope against the Aviva Premiership outfit.
He added. “I was a little bit nervous purely because you want those players to have a good experience. You know them for so long, that’s why I maybe had a few nerves going into that week.
“But watching the first scrum, the way they went about their business, the intent, the energy they had in that first half, it was great to watch.”
