Leinster Media Briefing Ahead Of Glasgow Warriors Away Game: Girvan Dempsey & Eoin Reddan – The Irish Daily Mirror – December 1 2015

IT’S A FESTIVE FEAST FOR BLUES

THE December fixture list is set to prove a serious test of Leinster’s mettle as they face four key games in the Guinness Pro12 and European Rugby Champions Cup.

Back-to-back encounters with defending European champions Toulon precede a Pro12 showdown with Munster at Thomond Park on December 27 but as the province’s backs coach Girvan Dempsey revealed yesterday, they are only focused on their away clash against league title holders Glasgow Warriors on Saturday.

He added: “It’s fourth versus fifth and they’re reigning champions. We know we’re not going to get as many opportunities away from home so it’s important that we do take those.

“The other games, we’ll take them one at a time. We can’t be thinking of Toulon and take our eye off Glasgow because we know how important it is to stay in the top four in the PRO12.”

Leinster returned to winning ways against rivals Ulster at the RDS on Friday but it was a far from perfect display.

And Ireland scrum-half Eoin Reddan admitted: “Let’s knuckle down and improve on a few areas and then hopefully be in a better position again next week.”
