Pre-Season Rugby Friendly: Leinster V Moseley – The Irish Daily Mail – August 29 2015

NACEWA STARS AS LEINSTER RUN RIOT

LEINSTER……………………………………….. 68

MOSELEY………………………………………… 0

It WAS a demolition job in Donnybrook last night, as Leinster recorded 10 tries against an overwhelmed Moseley in Leo Cullen’s first home game as head coach of Leinster.

Under the watchful eyes of Joe Schmidt and his international coaching staff, Leinster made a perfect start to the proceedings with an outstanding individual try from winger Mick McGrath just three minutes into the action, and they doubled their advantage when flanker Dan Leavy powered over the Moseley line.

Isa Nacewa on his return to Irish soil, then completed the opening period scoring by racing through for a well-worked seven-pointer.

Cullen unloaded his bench during the third-quarter, with Jack Conan added tries in the 44th and 52nd minutes following his half-time introduction, and Tadhg Beirne also crossed over just shy of the hour mark.

This was followed by a 64th minute penalty try, before a neat lay-off from Adam Byrne enabled Fergus McFadden to break over the whitewash.

Josh Van Der Flier and Darragh Fanning also touched down to complete the rout.
