A 1-10 HAUL for Jimmy Gelston drove GMIT to glory at Mobhi Road yesterday.
GMIT started brightly, but Pat’s started to grow into the game after the opening 10 minutes, and drew level by the 18th minute thanks to two points each from Kevin Nimmo and Niall Arthur.
However, GMIT found another gear and pulled away again to lead by 2-10 to 0-8 at the break.
Pat’s fought hard in the second period but a late Tom Breen 1-2 haul proved too little too late.
