Ulster Bank League Division 1A: St Mary’s College V Lansdowne – The Irish Independent – November 9 2013

ULSTER BANK LEAGUE

ST MARY’S COLLEGE 28, LANSDOWNE 33

FIRST-HALF tries from Mark Roche, Tyrone Moran and Paddy O’Driscoll proved decisive as reigning champions Lansdowne held off St Mary’s to record their third successive victory.

Roche and Moran had Lansdowne in the ascendancy early, but Mary’s fought their way back into proceedings.

Mary’s did give themselves a glimmer of hope in the closing moments when Mark Sexton and Gareth Austen both crossed, but they ultimately had to settle for two losing bonus points, as Lansdowne held out.
