St Mary’s College 15
Ballynahinch 09
A TOTAL of 15 points from the excellent Gavin Dunne proved to be the difference between the sides at a rain-soaked Templeville Road.
With Dunne’s place-kicking efforts in the 27th and 38th minutes, the hosts brought a 9-0 cushion into the second half.
A fourth successful kick at goal by Dunne boosted Mary’s further and they displayed terrific composure late on and a fifth penalty off the boot of Dunne gave them a deserved victory.
