Willie Staunton was the hero in Stradbrook as his expertly converted penalty gave Terenure College the points. Blackrock had a 12-point lead after the restart, but thanks to a well-worked try from left-wing Harry Moore, and five points from Staunton, the game was right back in the melting pot before Staunton settled the outcome.
