An 18-point contribution from the boot of Brian Haugh proved decisive at Templeville Road, as Young Munster emerged with an impressive win over St Mary’s College.
Gavin Dunne’s penalty and a try by Colm McMahon brought Mary’s right back into it 56 minutes in, but the dismissal of McMahon on a second yellow card seven minutes later was a hammer blow for Mary’s, and a try from Hugh McGrath killed them off.
