DROGHEDA 1

DAYLE ROONEY snatched a last-gasp victory over 10-man Bohs last night.
The Gypsies ended up a man short at Dalymount Park when skipper Jordan Flores was ant-off on 70 minutes.
And the Drogs showed their teeth three minutes into stoppage time with a superb finish from super-sub Rooney.
It left interim Bohs boss Derek Pender to contemplate a late defeat.
Colin McCabe was forced into a fine save from James Clarke’s firm strike on eight minutes.
Grew
However, the Drogs grew into the game with Darragh Markey, Adam Foley and Gary Deegan all having good chances.
McCabe denied Clarkeagain by tipping over his looping header, then the crossbar denied Chris Lyons after Dane Massey had nodded on.
Then Flores walked for a second yellow card.
Rooney unleashed an unstoppable effort into the right-hand corner of Ryan’s net to win it.
