ST PATRICK’S Athletic easily saw off Killester United to reach the Leinster Senior Cup final last night.

A brace of goals from the outstanding Sean O’Connor, and one each in the second half from Danny North and Dave Mulcahy, ensured the victory at Richmond Park.

Though they have a number of important league games on the horizon, St Pat’s boss Pete Mahon opted for a strong starting eleven against Killester – and that was enough to see them comfortably win this replay.

ST PAT’S: Bennion; Pender (Harney 70), E McMillan, Shorthall, Bermingham; McFaul, S O’Connor (Daly 78), Crowley, Mulcahy; Kavanagh (Murphy 78), North.

KILLESTER UNITED: McGuinness; Graydon, Graham, Murphy (Donnery 20), McCormack, Farrell; Ryan, Curley, Kavanagh; O’Connell (Stanley 66), Keogh (Dunne 34).

Referee: R Daly (Dublin).
