ST MARY’S, Saggart booked their place in the next round of the Dublin SFC with a 1-15 to 1-7 victory over Whitehall Colmcille at 12th Lock last night.

A 0-4 haul from Blaine Kelly helped Mary’s to establish a 0-8 to 0-5 interval lead over Whitehall – who fielded without Cormac Costello but had Dublin U21 Tony O’Sullivan on duty.

A John Bridgeman penalty offered Colmcilles a lifeline in the second-half, but the scoring prowess of Kelly and Cian Walsh ensured that Mary’s remained in control.
